pwn verb
Pwn is a slang derived from "own", it's believed to be originated from a typo since O and P are next to each other on a standard English keyboard.
Pwn is used widely in online gaming community when one has defeated the opponent by a large margin. The term carries with it a taunting element, often use to humiliate a soundly defeated opponent.
For example:
Lin Dan totally pwned Chong Wei in the badminton final.
pwnage is the noun version.
