Vocabulary Lesson with CK (July 2008)

noob noun

Noob, or newbie, is a slang commonly used in online games or internet activities to describe clueless newcomer.

It's usually used as an insult, but the term can also be used in a non-derogatory context.

Was wondering whether to post a book review, a funny picture entry, or a vocabulary lesson for the last entry of July.

Since I am still about 60 pages to the end of the novel I am reading, and have only been reading that one book this month, book review is out.

Done the images for the funny picture entry, but decided it best to hold on to that first since I used this noob term in that entry.

I actually have another vocabulary entry readied for this month, but to cater for the funny picture entry, it's this word instead for today. =)
