Iron Man

Went to watch a movie today, since tomorrow's a public holiday and I am a tad free these few days.

Okay okay, it's because it's Wednesday and GSC has discount rate and I am a cheapskate, RM6 for a movie!

Asked for the first movie that's on when I was at the ticket counter and being told it's Iron Man. Why not? I like science fiction movies so I went for it.

"That'll be ten ringgit please." (I added the "please" into the cashier's reply, sadly majority of the people here don't have the habit of using that magic word)

Eh? Ten, not six meh?

Was told it's a new hot movie so the discount didn't apply to it, I bought the ticket anyway since I don't want to let him know I am a cheapskate really want to watch the movie.

So how was the movie?

*Spoilers below!* Well, kind of...

There is this man named Tony lor, he made himself a suit of armour lor, said it's not really iron but some titanium alloy wor.

Can fly here fly there and pew pew shoot stuff and make them kaboom!

A lot of pew pew and kaboom and Iron Man versus bad guys duking it out lor.

Of course Iron Man won at the end lar.

Oh, got that pretty assistant and Tony has cool beard and goatee, I am going to start growing mine, hehehe.

There, bestest review EVER! Go tell your friends no need to see other reviews liao, just show them this one will do.

Fantastic movie for science fiction action movie lovers, worth every cents of my ten ringgit!

Nice actions, good pace, fantastic mechanical stuff, shame about the ruined racing car. Only thing I find hard to believe is Iron Man surviving all those terminal velocity crashes from high altitude, nothing soft to absorb the impact from his super duper armour leh.

Anyway, great movie, go watch!

The conversation happened a while ago but since I never used my work time to blog, and I don't turn on my work laptop at home as much as I can help it, the screenshots just got forgotten.

Kissed my baby boy goodbye at his great grandmother's house, his reaction was to stretch his hands towards mommy sitting in the other car...

I drove to Ipoh whole, I drove back to Penang two third missing.

Strangely free now, not used to having time to myself straight after dinner, usually it's baby-time until he goes to bed, which is around ten nowadays.

And the house is so... quiet.

Oh well, in case you find me weirder than usual in the coming two weeks, don't be alarmed.

I am just being incomplete.

Steam Expulsion

The royal highness was throwing his daily night time tantrum and the smarter half dumped him on me while I was trying to do my tax online.

The royal highness proceeded straight to crushed the paper which has my online pin and while I took the paper away he banged energetically on the keyboard. When I moved him away from the computer he went to terrorise the speakers instead.

I ended up bringing him downstairs and walked about.

There is no rest for a father. Not at work, not at home.

Cheap labour at work, slave at home.

Been rather down and depressed lately, was ill and things generally not going very well. The sonic boom from the royal highness and the subsequent raised voice from the smarter half are wearing me thin.

Not that anyone care.

Sorry another ranty entry, just needed to let off some fume.

Promise the next one will be a cute entry, I already have the write-up in mind. I just don't have the time, nor the right mood.

I Hear You

As free thinking individuals with multitude personalities and beliefs, finding ourselves in disagreement with the others is nothing special.

It's just part of life.

I am not charismatic nor influential, I am rather mild-mannered and not particularly good at making people seeing it my way.

Yes I heard you, loud and clear the very first time. Not agreeing with you doesn't mean I didn't hear you, I just saw no point in arguing when we both insist on our own way.

The question is: do you hear me?

Sickville

Just want to let you know that as the old fart (husband + father) is about half recovered, the smarter half (wife + mother) and the royal highness (baby) are both down with fever, flu, sore throat, unpleasent illness.

And that we don't mean to be rude if we declined your invitation to a gathering or outing. We are just not up to it until we get better.

Some time some where we made a wrong turn and went accidentally into Sickville.
