Say, if you rather believe the mechanical engineer instead of the thermal engineer on things thermal simulation related, be my guest.
Better still, just let the mechanical engineer do the thermal simulation. I welcome anything that reduces my workload.
Maybe it's unknown to you, but the mechanical engineer has been asking me thermal simulation questions a few months ago. Not just once, but a few times when said mechanical engineer was exploring Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Not sure how far the mechanical engineer has progressed in his learning of CFD, but a few months ago he couldn't figure out what's wrong with the thermal model he was exploring (probably copied from someone and tweaked himself), didn't know his settings was basically making his heat exchanger one giant block of metal instead of the proper fins, and many other things that he consulted me on.
And now he said something that contradicted with what I said with detail explanation in black and white, and you are questioning me?
It's because of his higher grade, isn't it? So he must be right.
Go ahead, listen to him all you like, but just get someone else to do it, not me.
I will not compromise the quality of my work, and yes, I do know my stuff.
