Make love, not war

I can totally understand the anger and resentment about the injustice and racism happening in the United States of America.

After all, I am from a country that has racial quota on university spot, a country with special privilege to a certain race, a country where playing the race and religion cards never gets old for politicians and those with personal agenda.

Yes, I do understand. I feel you.

But violence is not the answer, and should not be the means as well.

Nothing against peaceful protest, my countrymen had many before we finally overthrew a deeply corrupted political party that had been in power for 50+ years, which unfortunately is coming back through unscrupulous means. But that's not the topic for this entry.

Moderation is key.

We all have to exert restrain on our action and emotion, lest they get carried away and led to wanton behaviour like arson, riot, civil unrest.

Destruction of properties, harming or hurting others, looting, these are all crimes. They are wrong, no other way around it.

The world needs more love and understanding, more caring and compassion.

Not racism, not hate, and definitely not violence.

Violence never solves problem, it only creates more.
