After creating the many small robots in September 2012 (see part 4), I went on to build a big one in October 2012.

To date, this has been the biggest LEGO creation I made since we started getting the LEGO Creator sets for the kids.

It's a fairly flexible robot with many moving parts.

I spent some time on the head, to make it looked armoured and well, nice. The head can tilt and turn.

Needless to say, it has a jetpack. ^_^

Image above shows the jetpack deployed for flight. The image below shows the wings stored when not in use.

The arms are on ball joints and can bend at the elbow. The waist can turn and the legs are also on ball joints, bend at the knee as well as the ankle.

So yes, the robot can be positioned in very nice stance. ^_^

The right hand is a rotating cluster missle launcher with a high calibre gun. The left hand has four grippers.

It has sword and shield too. =)

That's the rear view of the fighting stance with the sword and shield equipped.

And another angle from the front. =P

The boys loved it. And I am rather proud of it myself, it's stylish and has realistic movement and poses.

Teaser for next in the series: car-jet!

No step-by-step instruction for this one, only started doing that for creations early this year. ^_^
