Attention gamers: World of Warcraft (EU) sale

If you are a gamer and you haven't heard of World of Warcraft, then shame on you!

World of Warcraft Europe is celebrating it's 7th anniversary and there is a half-price sale going on from 3rd to 19th of February 2012.

For those who has always wanted to have a WoW account, now's the time! During this sale period, 25 sterling pound get you the original World of Warcraft, plus the three expansions: The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Cataclysm.

Of course you can just be upgrading instead of getting the full set. If only I haven't upgraded all the way to Catacylsm last year, I would have snatched up this bargain without a blink.

I blame Blizzard for offering me free trial on WotLK and free game time last year. =P

This is of course the European version of the game, meaning playable on European servers only. Just so you know, I play on European servers. =)

If for some reason you have never played this MMORPG and itching to give it a try, there is this free Starter Edition. You can play the original plus The Burning Crusade up to character level 20, after that your character can no longer level up but you are still free to roam the world and keep on playing, or just create another character, there are so many races and classes to try after all.

And no worries, there is absolutely no string attached. My wife is playing on this free Starter Edition. I also have one, since lately I cannot justify the monthly payment and with this free account I can still jump into the world whenever I got the luxury of free time for gaming.

Houston, we have a problem. We lost Houston. Over.

Whitney Houston, once singer extraordinaire, has passed away at the age of 48.

Her songs had tounched many, myself included. I remember the late night car ride with the windows down, stereo cracking, and all of us in the car sang along I Will Always Love You at the top of our lungs.

Great song. Fond memory.

Yes people, stay away from drug, it's something that you don't have to try, ever.

Speedy Slacker

After 16+ years of driving, I got my first ever speeding ticket.

There goes my clean sheet. Bummer.

There is a first time for everything, though something I simply just forgo. For example smoking.

I am a law-abiding citizen*. I am a responsible and considerate driver, really I am. =)

* initially I wanted to say I am a pretty law-abiding citizen, but my twisted sense of humour wanted to type it as "I am pretty, law-abiding citizen". =P

I was following a colleague's car when the speeding happened, I wasn't really paying attention to the speedometer, focused on following as we were heading to a dinner and I wasn't sure of the way.

And the colleague was following another colleague, who was also following another colleague. Basically I was the fourth and last car in the series, though the police only caught me speeding but not the other three.

Just my luck. =(

I guess the police was made aware of the speeding cars when the first colleague drove passed, he tried to focus his camera on the second car but it zoomed passed, so he used the third car to adjust his focus and with that he was able to capture the fourth...

>_<

Oh well, my own fault. So there goes the money I don't have to pay the fine.

What weekend? What holiday?

Replacement holiday for Prophet Muhammad's birthday today, and Thaipusam tomorrow, so it's a four days long weekend.

For most people in Malaysia anyway.

Though for me and a few others on the same project, it's work, work, and work.

This is the reason I just smile and sometimes snigger when other colleagues complain about how busy they are, or whine about how much stuff they have to do.

Most colleagues go home two hours earlier than I do on average. Some colleagues do not go to office a few days a week. And I know of a supposingly very busy colleague who can still go over the sea to have lunch. =P

I feel you, bro, I feel you.
