Took the day off, because I am hitting my annual leave limit and don't want any additional leave to burn, as well as because there's a karaoke and a wedding ceremony to attend.
Woke up for no apparent reason in the middle of the night, but after that I slept till late this morning, no small feat considering the number of people in the house currently, including three boys who can really bring down the house. =P

After the predictable drop outs and change of minds and last minute cancellations, there were eight of us in the karaoke session. The exact number we booked the room for, despite the actual number of people who said they would go being a lot higher.
Heh, I know these unruly kittens and their tricks. Gonna heed the advice of don't bother asking them next time. Except those whom I have promised will inform. A promise is a promise.
Was a fun session, the core gang was there, and with them around, hilarity and merriment guaranteed. ^_^
I got to shout my head off in a few songs, so I am satisfied. Susan amazed us with her flawless singing of a few Chinese songs, atta girl, respect! Really, hats off to you.
Guess it will be a few months until our next session.

God-sister-in-law's wedding ceremony today.
For the closeness between wifey's family and her, and her closeness to wifey and our kids, she is just like a sister-in-law really, blood or no blood.
Seaside garden wedding ceremony at Parkroyal Hotel. The exact same place we had ours seven years and ten months ago, down to the date. The settings, the celebrant, the nosy tourists, the white suit. Sure brought back a lot of sweet memories.
Typically, camera battery died as soon as things got going, oh well. So just take my word for it, the bride's stunningly gorgeous and the groom's looking extremely smart in a white suit.
Lovely couple.
Good old Adam the honoured celebrant, still pronouncing the 'h' in honour after so many years. What silent 'h'? Guess some things just don't change. =)
Lovely wedding ceremony, thank you so much for inviting us to be part of it.
The food in the reception that followed the cermony was better than I expected. I really like the beef and the chicken. That dessert thingy with banana inside was nice too. The mango pudding was meh though. =P
And there's fireworks! And of course quality time with family and the in-laws, simply priceless.
A really wonderful day today. Me is happy. =D
