Covid-19 and humanity

Despite the outbreak of coronavirus getting worse all over the globe, there are still these puny people who use it as a medium to advance their personal agenda.

The conscienceless politicians and their followers playing the blame and smear game, sowing fear and inciting hate.

The opinionated thick-heads taking things out of context and generate half-truths or wholesale lies to further their personal pet peeves and self-believed ideals.

The greedy miscreants taking advantage of the disaster to reap profit, hoarding essentials, making counterfeits, and reselling them at extortive price.

Seriously, WTF?

Blaming another nation or race is going to help the situation?

Getting people to hate another nation or race is going to help the situation?

Getting fat in your purse but with an empty soul, creating unnecessary unrest and unreasonable panic is going to help the situation?

Waste of oxygen, all of you doing these. You are the reason the world couldn't be as nice as it should.

And people wonder why I don't like to socialise... No thanks to these people who made me bitter and lost faith in humanity.

I am no doctor, nor am I any expert in virus or pandemic control.

But even a simple person like me knows that we need to contain the virus, to keep it under control, by slowing or halting the spread, before it becomes a catastrophe.

It's a very simple logic that we only have finite resource to help patients. There are only so many doctors, nurses and hospital beds.

It's an equally simple logic that we need to make sure the number of patients are less than that finite number of resource, else there will be patients who can't get the help they need.

And to ensure the number of patients are kept below the available resource, we need to do our part in staying healthy.

That means a heightened awareness of hygiene. Be mindful of what and where you touch, where and what you sneeze into. Wash your hands regularly, and thoroughly, with soap.

Eat well, rest well, sleep well. Exercise regularly to keep your body fit.

If it becomes necessary, distancing, isolation and quarantine to keep yourself and others safe.

Chinese haters can continue to hate, but I look at actions and results, not words and slanders.

China is coming out of the worst, so their method works. Before there is a cure, following a proven successful method is hands down more productive than throwing blame, smearing nation, being racist, and giving in to panic.

And yea, China sending medical help to Italy is just the thing a proper human should be doing, contribute to make the world a better place.

Not the other way round.
