There are two types of people: those who encourage and assist you in achieving your goal; and those who make fun of your attempt and try to hinder you from achieving your goal.
Be thankful of both types.
The former are those who you can rely on. They are those who will share your happiness and your sense of achievement when you succeeded. These are positive people.
Try to surround yourself with this kind of people.
The latter are those who derive sadistic pleasure from other people's failure and suffering. They make light of your goal and ridicule your effort, selfishly hoping that you will fail. Perhaps they don't want others to achieve something they can't?
There will always be arseholes and jerks in the world, sad but true.
Be thankful to the former for their positive support and the readily available person to share your joy of success.
Turn the latter's hindrances and jeers into motivation, into strength, and prove them wrong. Because the harder they make it, the greater the sense of achievement.
Just remember not to fall to their level.
