Scarface

Just when I was nearing the end of my sorethroat + fever + flu + cough ordeal, a bloody venomous insect had to crawl over my face leaving a nasty blistery pus-festering wound.

It's like makeup for a horror movie, only it's real.

Just my luck.

What a craptastically sucky break.

Thanks to tauke ToyGun for providing the name of the insect (which I forgot after the doctor told me), I have a bit more information to share:

The venomous insect is called Rove Beetle. Well, to be more precise, it's genus Paederus of the Rove Beetle family.

The skin irritation has a scientific name of Paederus Dermatitis, and if you are really interested, check out this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paederus_dermatitis

Worth checking out the wiki page to at least know how the insect looks like.

Be very careful especially if you have young children at home. The skin irritation will be alot worst!
