Nick of time

Just completed Diablo IV season 9: Sins of the Horadrim, with my druid.

Season 10: Season of Infernal Chaos, is starting in about 2 hours. That's how close I am cutting it.

Not by choice, I didn't get much time to play in this season, no thanks to the way too much of working overtime.

I almost despair to be honest, thinking I will not be able to complete the season journey this time. What with the last chapter of the journey has three quests tied to a specific dungeon run introduced in the season, that requires dungeon key to access, and Blizzard in their infinite wisdom has limited the dungeon key to drop in yet another specific sub-dungeon, with abysmal drop rate.

Just plain horrible game design.

Unfortunately, players need to complete at least one of those three quests in order to meet the minimum number of quests needed to complete the chapter. Again, bad game design.

By sheer dumb luck and a bit of determination I managed to complete one of those quests, barely made it to be honest with my wee druid, probably just seconds from failing the time limit.

I am mightily glad, and honestly, not really looking forward to the new season that's starting in about two hours. I simply don't have the time to play nowadays and I dread a repeat of this rushing to complete near the end of the season.
